Maurino P. Bolante

Professor Maurino P. Bolante is on the core faculty of the Executive Education and Lifelong Learning Center. He was a Program Director of MBA 2009. He was the former Program Director of MBM 2003 and MBM 2005. He also served on the faculty of the Master in Entrepreneurship (ME) Program and was a Senior Consultant at the Asian Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE). He was involved in the design and development of course materials, cases and teaching notes for the ME Program.
His research projects focused on a range of topics: comparative analysis of the privatization experiences of the Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia in the airline, telecommunications, energy industries; strategic management; development finance; rural credit delivery systems; social enterprise; and entrepreneurship development.
Prof. Bolante was a former Senior Consultant of the Overseas Project Management Company (OPMAC), a Japanese firm providing various consultancy services to programs and projects funded by the Overseas Economic Cooperation Fund (OECF).
In the field of community organization, Prof. Bolante continues to extend management consultancy and training services as well as marketing assistance to NGOs and other community–based organizations. He conducts training programs for various government agencies, non-governmental organizations, banks, private business entities, and related enterprises in the areas of strategic planning, area development, project development and management, project study preparation, financial management, credit and financial systems, business management, marketing management, small business management, and trainor’s training.
Prof. Bolante received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Ateneo de Davao University (1977). He holds a Diploma in Industrial Management from the Research Institute for Management Science in Delft, The Netherlands (1984) and a Master of Business Administration from the Ateneo de Manila University (1987).
